What is Dynamic Watermarking?

Dynamic watermarking overlays visible, viewer-identifying details, such as name, email, or IP address, on the video during playback. Unlike a static logo, the overlay moves position and varies opacity so it cannot be cleanly cropped or masked out.

How It Works

At playback time, the platform composites the current viewer's identity onto the video as a moving overlay. Because the text is tied to the individual watching and shifts around the frame, any screen recording or photograph of the screen carries the recorder's own identity, embedded in a way that is hard to remove without damaging the footage.
